Whether you are in a group, a couple or a singleton
the price per person remains the same!
   
Explore the lesser known Northern Loire valley, with it's rivers, forests, vineyards, quaint villages in the local creamy tuffau stone, or built into caves! This piece of rural France will have you entranced with it's abundance of wildlife, unspoilt landscapes and spectacular views.
Walks included in the holiday are easy to moderate with 2 full walking days of between 16 to 22 km and one day where you have an option of either a full or a half-day walk with a lunchtime break at a local relais restaurant. All walks,however will be adapted to cater for the abilities of the group, with self-guided walks available to suit all abilities for the days when there are no group walks.
Your guides are Sue and Tony, ex-pat residents. They will be able to lead you to places of local interest, show you the flora and fauna and give you some background to the beautiful landscape you will be walking through, including the National Foret de Berce, vineyards, lakes and rivers.
You can use your free days to go on self-guided walks with maps provided by us or visit local chateaux and gardens, sample the local wines at a local vineyard, explore the renaissance architecture in Tours or Le Mans or just put your feet up and relax!
Accommodation, breakfast and home-cooked evening meals are all included in the price, together with packed lunches for 2 days and the lunch at the local relais restaurant for another day. For one of the evening meals we will take you out to a restaurant where you can sample the local specialities.
You will be staying either at Le Moulin de St Blaise or La Maison Cremyll in nearby Chahaignes.
